ST.PETERSBURG VEPSIAN SOCIETY
The St.Petersburg Vepsian Society, Russia, was founded in 2000. The main goals of our Society are to preserve, study and promote Vepsian language and culture.
The Vepsian Society provides any possible help to vepsian students studying in St.Petersburg, gathers linguists, anthropologists, historians, archeologists whose researches are connected with Vepses.
We work in close co-operation with the Vepsian Cultural Society in Petrozavodsk (Petroskoi), which was founded in 1988 (Sorry, they have no pages in the Internet).
